  Great place for kids. The playground is big and have multiple swing, slide. There is a mountain of sand for the kids to go play. A beach volleyball court. The staff was friendly. Don't miss the deal on ice cream. I am giving a 4 star because the bathroom could be improve. First the water smell like sulfur. You know that rotten egg smell. The shower head is coming straight from above, if you don't want to wash your hair, it's kinda inconvenient. The toilet are too high, if you have children they will need help to get on, and unless you are 6 feet tall its uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean, actually really clean for a campground. I definitely recommend this campground, the valley scenery and the river was great. Some site have nice tree cover. Elkton valley campground we will be back.

  For the money, there are better campgrounds. Although the kids loved it, they're fairly easy to please. We spent $100 for two nights and I would expect a little bit more. - the grass was cut, but not around the fire pit or trees so it looked fairly shabby - the playground was ok, Costco backyard type, but weeds everywhere and nothing had been maintained very well - the sites are ridiculously close together, barely enough room to open the awning - the breaker boxes were interior-gradewith some rust on them, they kept flipping, even during the night when only the furnace was going I'm sure back in the day it was nice, but overall it felt like the maintenance had gotten away from the owners. It was nice to have an open space for the kids to play, they had a great time. The staff seemed quite friendly and helpful. I can understand and appreciate the work that goes into running a campground, but if you're not prepared to maintain the campground to a suitable standard, you shouldnt be charging premium rates. My opinion only, the campground was full so obviously others really enjoyed it.
